The charity Bullying UK welcomes new project The Oracle, an artificially intelligent advice service. Bullying is a problem that touches so many children's lives and it's important that they have access to reliable help and advice at the time when they most need it.
The Oracle makes it easy for young people of all ages and abilities to receive advice via a unique interface that allows a person to either just answer each question The Oracle asks or provide entire written paragraphs about a particular problem.
If a person is unsure of the answer to give they can use the drop down menu to select the most common answer to the current question. This can also be used to move through The Oracle more quickly.
As The Oracle learns more about the problem a user is having it will start to deliver advice and continue to ask more questions while delivering more advice. On completing a session with The Oracle the user is presented with a round up of all the advice given.
We are launching The Oracle as a Beta, this means that The Oracle has not finished learning and developing but is ready for public testing to give the charity valuable feedback.
We need your help to make sure The Oracle is working correctly so please keep your eyes open for bugs (things that don't work the way you would expect) and issues with the advice round up at the end of your session. (It's very hard to do and there will be some glitches).
You can report any problems using the Feedback tab hovering on the right side of the page.
As always if you need more advice you can email our support team on help@bullying.co.uk
